![]() ![]() As always, I will not spoil anything related to the ending of the book or anything like that, but I will bring up the plot a little. Something that would be easy to read but also cozy. I have been wanting to read classic hero's journeys, quests, and tropey fantasy lately. Pawn of Prophecy was what my randomizer chose, and so here we are. ![]() ![]() So I made a list that included the Drenai series by David Gemmell, the Earthsea Trilogy by Ursula Leguin, the Riftwar Saga, the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series by Tadd Williams (I've read the first book), and obviously, the Belgariad. I've been wanting to go back and explore these books. I am currently working through The Wheel of Time, an undertaking that I did not imagine taking this long (only 4 books left!). Despite that, I missed out on some of the older books, the "classics," if you will. I grew up on Harry Potter, Eragon, Percy Jackson, The Beyonders (by Brandon Mull, this book series is super underrated), and anything Middle-Earth related. But I did not really dive into the genre until I was much older. Hello, my fellow travelers, I am back with another book review for you all! Growing up with fantasy was interesting for me.
